Privacy

The short version: we collect as little as we can, we don't sell or share it for ads, and we don't need a cookie banner because there's nothing sneaky to consent to.

A necessary sign-in cookie

When you sign in, we store one cookie so you stay signed in and your cart comes back. It isn't used for advertising. Your browser may ask permission to use cookies — allowing it keeps sign-in and checkout working.

Anonymous visitor counts

We keep a simple count of which pages get read and for how long, so we know what to fix. Two random, meaningless IDs are saved in your browser to tell repeat visits apart — no name, no email, no address. Staff pages are never counted.

Square handles your payment

You enter your card on Square's secure page, so card numbers never touch our site. We send Square your order, shipping address, and email so you get a receipt and your books arrive.

The Google map on our Visit page

The map loads from Google, so Google can see that someone opened that page. Nothing else on the site reaches Google, and we don't run advertising or cross-site trackers.

Prayer requests

Your prayer team reads a request first. Once approved, the request itself appears on the digital prayer wall screen in our store — with your first name, or without it if you asked to be anonymous. Your email address is never shown, and nothing goes to advertisers.

You're in control

Clearing your browser's saved site data removes these IDs and your cart. If you'd like us to remove something tied to you, call the store and we'll take care of it.

Questions?

Call the store at (973) 576-5607 or ask at the counter — a person will answer. You can also reach us through the Visit page.
